Finishing, VFX & 3D
Finishing is where every element of post production converges into a single, polished deliverable. It demands technical precision at the pixel level and an obsessive attention to detail. Plutonium Post handles the full finishing pipeline: online conform, VFX compositing, 3D animation, title design, and final mastering. We deliver to every major spec: DCP for theatrical, ProRes and IMF for streaming, and broadcast-compliant masters for network delivery.
Online Conform & Quality Control
The online conform rebuilds your locked timeline at full resolution, replacing offline proxies with camera-original media. Our finishing editors verify every cut, transition, and effect against the offline reference, catching any discrepancies before they reach the final master. We perform thorough QC, checking for dropped frames, flash frames, audio sync drift, color space errors, and codec artifacts. This process ensures your final deliverable is technically flawless. We conform in DaVinci Resolve and Flame, matching the toolset to your project's needs.
VFX Compositing & 3D Animation
From invisible cleanup work like wire removal, screen replacements, and sky augmentation to full CG environments and character animation, our VFX pipeline scales to match your project's ambition. We composite in Nuke and After Effects, model and animate in Cinema 4D and Blender, and integrate directly with editorial and color workflows. Our VFX team collaborates directly with supervisors and directors, iterating through reviews on Frame.io and SyncSketch. Whether you need ten shots or ten hundred, we build a pipeline that delivers consistent quality on schedule.
Title Design & Deliverables
Main titles, end crawls, lower thirds, and motion graphics all fall under our finishing umbrella. We design and animate title sequences that set the tone for your project, from elegant typographic treatments to fully rendered CG environments. On the delivery side, we master to every major format: DCP with KDM encryption for theatrical, Dolby Vision IMF for premium streaming platforms, ProRes and DNxHR for broadcast, and H.264/H.265 for web and review. Every deliverable is QC'd against the platform's published spec before delivery.
